Routinely hailed by modern critics as literature’s greatest adventure tale, Robert Louis Stevenson’s immortal classic, “Treasure Island,” comes to life on the LifeHouse stage.
“Treasure Island” is written by LifeHouse founder and president Wayne R. Scott with music and lyrics by Scott and renowned film and stage composers Nolan and Jason Livesay, whose work includes the Academy Award-winning film “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” TV shows “The Orville,” and “Defenders” and the Spider-Man game soundtrack. This action-packed family musical contains all the memorable elements of the novel and a few added surprise twists. Intrigue combines with double crosses, a treasure chest, swashbuckling sword fights, and the unraveling of mysterious secrets to make this an unforgettable theater experience for all ages.
