San Bernardino County has launched a series of billboard advertisements promoting the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” campaign to help combat the spread of COVID-19. The billboards are located next to major freeways and will be viewable to commuters in San Bernardino County.

“The ‘Stay Home, Stay Safe’ billboard campaign is a reminder to residents that staying home will help slow the spread of the virus,” said Board of Supervisors Chairman Curt Hagman. “Staying home as much as possible while only participating in essential activities, such as critical work functions, or shopping for necessities, has been our number one offense in fighting COVID-19. Our community is safer when we all do our part to take additional precautions and follow the latest health safety guidelines.”

The billboard advertisement features the County’s COVID-19 resources webpage sbcovid19.com and also highlights the slogan, “We’ll get through this together!”

The billboard placements were donated by General Outdoor Advertising. The billboards are located in Rancho Cucamonga on the I-15 freeway between 4th Street and Foothill, in Fontana on the I-10 freeway between Etiwanda Avenue and Cherry Avenue, and San Bernardino on the 215 freeway south of the 2nd/5th Street exit.

The billboards are just one of the many communication tools being used by the County to help better inform residents of the latest updates regarding the COVID-19 crisis. Various appropriate County departments and agencies have been working together to protect the community, with daily guidelines and new information shared to the public.

For information about the coronavirus crisis, visit the County’s coronavirus website at sbcovid19.com. The public can also contact the COVID-19 hotline from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday at (909) 387-3911, or email the County at coronavirus@dph.sbcounty.gov.
