Ryan English, the Inland Empire 66ers of San Bernardino’s longest-standing front office member, says goodbye to the baseball life as he completes his final day with the organization Wednesday, January 31st. Ryan will be moving back to his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, to start a new career in event and concert production.

English started his time with the 66ers in 2003 as a college intern with the Account Executive title and then returned to the team in 2004 permanently as the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage Operations. English collectively spent 15 seasons with the 66ers, also holding the Director of Stadium Operations title and completing his tenure Assistant General Manager. During his time with the 66ers, Ryan built priceless relationships not only within the organization but was an upstanding member of many community groups throughout San Bernardino. Ryan took pride in his work with organizations such as: Rotary of San Bernardino, San Bernardino Police Foundation, Mayor’s Business Roundtable and numerous others.

66ers General Manager Joe Hudson commented, “Ryan’s commitment to the team and the San Bernardino community have been a major part of the 66ers' success throughout the years. Ryan has been a huge part of the 66ers family for over 15 years. We are extremely sad to see him go but excited for the new opportunities that lie ahead.”

“I cannot thank the Elmore Sports Group, the 66ers and the community surrounding San Bernardino enough for the support they have given me. I truly feel like I’m moving away from a family and will miss all of my friends and colleagues,” English said. “I am very excited about this next chapter in my life, and I cannot wait to attend a 66ers game with a beer in my hand!”

As the team says goodbye to Ryan, it introduced new titles and front office members to the organization. Steve Pelle, the former Director of Groups Sales, will be taking on the role of Director of Corporate Sales and Marketing. Anna Forslin joins the team as the seasonal Groups Sales Coordinator and Adam Zubiate joins as the seasonal Ticket Operations Coordinator.
