Moreno Valley Police Sgt. Brian De Marco recently graduated from the Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute (SBSLI), where he spent the last eight months studying leadership and organizational development.
Sgt. De Marco has worked for the Moreno Valley Police Department since 2014. He has been assigned to Patrol, the Investigations Bureau, and most recently as the Administrative Sergeant for the Department.
He has been a police officer since 2001.
The curriculum takes students through an analysis of management, including planning, organizing, and directing, and leadership as well as how each discipline compliments the other.
