New Animal Control Services

We all love our furry friends. The ones that bring us joy and happiness. The companions we share our days with and take care of. But, what about those that don’t have us to love them? The furry ones that get lost or don’t have homes to go to?

Well, the city of Grand Terrace has announced the new Animal Control Services! The new Animal Control Services will help our furry friends when in need and provide even more services for the community. 

The new services  include:

Licensing

Animal Nuisance Complaints

Loose Dog Calls

Dead Animal Removal

All other animal control field services. 

Have you seen a poor animal on the road? Call the animal services to help in the removal of them. Hear or see an animal making a nuisance? Be sure to call upon the animal control services and they will check in on them. 

To report dead animals, file animal nuisance complaints, or any other Animal Control related issue, please contact (909) 824 - 6621, extension 217.

For after-hours emergency calls contact San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Dispatch, at (909) 387 - 8313.

For animal sheltering services, contact the Western Riverside County Animal Shelter, at (951) 358-7387(PETS).

Please take note of the following licensing procedures/information:

A maximum of two dogs per residence are allowed per City Code.

A maximum of two cats per residence are permitted per City Code. Licensing of cats is optional.

Pet owner must bring proof of current rabies vaccination and proof of spay or neuter (if applicable) to obtain a license.
