On November 7, 2019, in the early morning hours, the Trujillo family of Colton lost their home in a tragic fire. The fire began in the back yard and when they opened a sliding door in an attempt to extinguish it, the fire pushed it's way into the home and began to consume everything in it's path. "Thank God the fire shifted toward the kitchen first giving us time to wake up our kids and run out of the house," explained Stacy Trujillo. Everything the family owned was lost- clothes, pictures, and cherished memories made in their home. The Trujillo family includes six children, four of whom are school-age and two who are graduating from Colton High School this year. Having lost everything the parents, Carlos and Stacy, must now find a way to clothe and shelter their children. Their daughter, Alexandria (Lexie) Trujillo is the reigning Miss Colton. #Aristrong is teaming up with as many members of the community that will help Carlos and Stacy Trujillo and their family out during this most difficult time. The #Aristrong foundation is asking donations of gift cards to clothing stores, WalMart, Target, or monetary donations to help get them anything they may need for their family immediately. They are currently staying with family in Moreno Valley. The #Aristrong foundation is currently accepting donations. A car wash has been organized to help the family. All supplies are welcomed as well as monetary donations and a show of support by the community. Tomorrow the #Aristrong foundation will be providing buckets, sponges and soap for the car wash. It will be held at Family Dollar on the corner of Rancho and C St. in Colton. Should you need more information you can contact Nikki Villalobos at (909) 370-0811. Thank you and God bless.
