Black Bear Diner is now open for business, serving up delicious home-cooked pancakes, bacon, and chicken-fried steaks in a cozy environment. Breakfast is served all day long.

Located at 24949 Sunnymead Boulevard in the Sunnymead Plaza Shopping Center, Black Bear Diner is one of more than a dozen new restaurants that have opened up in Moreno Valley over the last year.

From home-cooking at Black Bear Diner to delicious pizza at Mountain Mikes and dinner, Grammy Award-winning live music and beer at Woody’s Brewhouse, Moreno Valley residents have a variety of new dining options.

And it’s not just restaurants we are celebrating.

Moreno Valley’s retail growth was strong in 2018, with new businesses opening and new shopping centers developing across the city.

We welcomed Hyundai of Moreno Valley, the city’s first newly constructed car dealership in a decade.

More than 7 million square feet of industrial buildings was under construction in 2018.

Skechers USA expanded into a new 366,000 square foot facility. Solaris Paper will be moving their new headquarters in a nearly 800,000 square foot building.

And Lowe’s Home Improvement is moving a new facility to a 1.39 million square foot facility at Nandina and Indian Avenues.

Speaking of home improvement, Sherwin Williams just held a ribbon cutting celebrating their newest paint store at Towngate Center. And the Pottery Barn Outlet at Moreno Beach Plaza opened its doors in June, offering best-selling products, top brands and gifts at discounted prices.

The Quarter Project, with three new hotels being built at the corner of Eucalyptus Avenue and Day Street, will open this spring.

New restaurants and businesses have helped bring more than 17,000 new jobs to Moreno Valley in the last five years. And we’re adding more every day.

Whether you’re in the market for a cheeseburger, a dining room table, or a new car, make sure you Shop MoVal!
