Mayor Pro Tem will be Featured Speaker at the Redlands Republican Women's Club

The Redlands Republican Women’s Club is pleased to announce that Paul Barich, Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Redlands, will be the featured speaker at the club’s September, Friday lunch meeting. The meeting will be held at the Redlands Country Club starting at 11:30 am, with a delicious lunch served at noon and the presentation scheduled at 12:30 pm. The cost for lunch is $20 and reservations must be made by Sept. 19. For reservations call Laurie Tremain at (909) 792-2501. If you want to hear the speaker and not have lunch, there is no cost, and there will be seats available. College students are invited to attend and lunch will be free for them.

Born and raised in Redlands, Mayor Pro Tem Paul Barich, attended the public schools and graduated from Redlands High in 1972. Paul received his BA degree in History from UCLA in 1977. He taught school for one year, and then opened his own business in Redlands-Barich & Associates Insurance. He was the founding member of Professional Insurance Agents if the inland empire and Inland Empire Health Underwriters Assoc. He has been an active member in the Redlands community for more than 38 years. Just a few of his activities and recognitions: Redlands Bowl Chamber of Commerce past president; Optimist Club from 1983 to present; Redlands Bowl Performing Arts from 1992 to present; Boys and Girls Club of Redlands as past president; with Unified School District recognition in 2012.

Paul has been a resident of Redlands for over 60 years. Is married to Joann and the father of two daughters; and has three grandchildren. Paul is an avid book collector, historian and football enthusiast—CIF Football Official. Paul is a 16-year cancer survivor.
