“Palm Springs Speaks,” presented by the Palm Springs Cultural Center and Friends of the Palm Springs Library, welcomes New York Times best-selling author Lisa Scottoline on March 26, at 7:30 p.m. at Camelot Theatres in Palm Springs. She is the author of 29 novels, as well as a series of humorous memoirs.

Scottoline began her crime fiction writing career in 1994 and has won the Edgar Award, and been awarded by the Mystery Writers of America. These stories have been collected in a New York Times best-selling series of humorous memoirs, including their most recent, “I Need A Lifeguard Everywhere But The Pool.”

Featuring a diverse selection of internationally known speakers, Scottoline concludes the successful 2018 inaugural series. Other speakers include author Dan Savage, writer, TV personality, and activist best known for his political and social commentary, as well as his honest approach to sex, love, and relationships; and Deepak Chopra M.D., founder of The Chopra Foundation, and co-founder of The Chopra Center for Wellbeing.

Tickets are $30, $60, or $95 per ticket. The $30 admission is for back row seating and includes a copy of the author's book and access to the General Admission Book signing line after the lecture. For $60, it is general admission seating and includes a copy of the author's book and access to the General Admission Book signing line after the lecture.
