LLUH Offers New Medicare Senior Advantage Plans

Loma Linda University Health (LLUH) now offers medicare beneficiaries new Medicare Senior Advantage plan options through United Healthcare. Three Part C Medicare Advantage HMO plans will be accepted by Loma Linda University Health primary care physicians through AARP Medicare Complete – Secure Horizons by United Healthcare. Individuals can sign up for the plans during the current Medicare open enrollment period from Oct. 15 - Dec. 7, 2014 for an effective date of Jan. 1, 2015. A number of one-hour informational meetings are being offered to the public to learn more about the plans. The meetings cover Medicare Parts A, B, C and D, Medicare supplements and Medicare Advantage plans’ benefits.
