Moreno Valley Holds Snow Day

MORENO VALLEY>> Spending hours in bumper-to-bumper traffic driving up to our local mountains to play in the snow is enough to turn anyone into a Grinch. The City of Moreno Valley is here to help you get in the holiday spirit – without the traffic. Experience 65 tons of snow – plenty for snowball fights and snow angels – at the City of Moreno Valley’s Snow Day on Saturday, Dec. 3rd, at the Conference & Recreation Center. For only $5 per 45 minute snow session, children under 12 years old can tube down three different snow runs or play in our Tot Lot. Enjoy food vendors, a free Kids Zone, face painting, entertainment and a Holiday Craft Fair - all part of the Snow Day experience. The holiday celebration doesn’t stop after the snowballs stop flying. The City of Moreno Valley's 1st Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony begins at 6 pm. and the ceremony is free.
