On Sunday, under the inspired direction of Dr. Viorel Gheorghe, the Moreno Valley Master Chorale and Orchestra will present “The Magic of Mozart.” This exciting concert will feature many of Mozart’s popular works, including his “Coronation Mass.” The soloists for the mass will be world-renowned opera singer, Camelia Voin, soprano; Maribel Ruiz-Velasco, mezzo-soprano; Louis Salcido, tenor; and Hongsuk Chae, bass. Other works by Mozart that will be performed are his “Church Sonata” No. 12, K278; and “Concerto for Piano and Orchestra” No. 21, K467 with Jenny Soonjin Kim on piano. A special treat for concert attendees will be Ms. Voin’s lilting soprano voice singing the Mozart aria, “No Che Non Sei Capace, K 419.” The concert will be held at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, located at 11650 Perris Boulevard in Moreno Valley at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2015. Tickets (cash only) may be purchased at the door, or by calling 951-485-8414. Prices are: adults - $15; seniors, students, and children over 5 years - $10. For more information, please call 951-485-8414, or go to the Chorale’s website at www.morenovalleymasterchorale.org.
