Council Member Isaac Suchil announced yesterday that he will be seeking the Mayors Seat for The City of Colton that will be relinquished by Richard Delarosa in November.

Council Member Suchil has lived in Colton for over five decades along with his wife Regina, two sons and two grandsons.

First and foremost, he wants to thank all residents for their continued support, if you have not supported him in the past he would be honored to earn your support for this 2018 election.

As you know over the past 10 years he has had the opportunity to experience working as Council Member for District 6, during this time he has enjoyed working on behalf of our residents.

He feels we need to protect taxpayers & businesses through sound fiscal management, instead of raising taxes and utility rates which takes money from hard working residents and struggling businesses.

Council Member Suchil is A Proven Experienced Fiscal Minded Council Member who works for the people he represents and with the Support and Endorsement of Mayor Richard Delarosa he will keep putting our residents first.

“Our City needs to provide important services to our residents & businesses in a more cost-effective manner by bringing government, businesses & labor together to make Colton the most job inviting City in San Bernardino County”.

Here are a few of his accomplishments:

1. He pushed for better LED lighting to South La Cadena Ave, Mt Vernon Ave and Washington Ave.

2. He pushed for signalization to South La Cadena Ave.

3. He started to beautify our medians with drought tolerant vegetation on Mt Vernon Ave, Washington Ave.

4. With the assistance of UP Railroad, we have started the process on removing an old outdated and unsafe bridge on Barton Road.

5. He is bringing a passive park and memorial dog park to our south side of District 6.

6. And he along with our City Staff has found a Viable Business to Occupy our old K-Mart building which has been vacant for over 10 years, now to be occupied by Richardson’s RV.

“All Candidates should be judged on”

1. What they have done and not on what they say they will do.

2. Are they responsive or do they just refer you to City Staff?

3. Does your Council Member call you back in a timely manner?
