Most Redlands City Hall administrative offices will be closed beginning Wednesday, Dec. 20, through Monday, Jan. 1. Essential City services, including public safety, water distribution and solid waste collection, as well as the A.K. Smiley Public Library will be in full operation. The City Manager, department directors, City Attorney, Public Information Officer and other executive staff will continue to monitor operations, provide appropriate staff direction and respond to emails and messages as necessary.

In addition to public safety, solid waste and recycling pickup, the Redlands Animal Shelter, Hillside Memorial cemetery, and City parks and water treatment facilities will remain open and in operation. The Fire Prevention Bureau will be available for emergency inspections on Monday, Dec. 18, through Thursday, Dec. 21, by calling (909) 440-0563. From Tuesday, Dec. 26, through Thursday, Dec. 28, inspections can be scheduled by calling (909) 714-2030.

There will be no solid waste (trash) service on Monday, Dec. 25, 2017 and Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, due to the holidays.

All solid waste collection service will run one day behind for both weeks. For example, if your solid waste collection service day is Friday, then collection service will be provided on Saturday.  Any missed collections should be called into (909) 798-7529. Messages will be retrieved daily by 10 a.m.
