American Advertising Awards ADDYS Entries Open

The American Advertising Federations (AAF) Inland Empire Chapter is currently accepting entries for its annual competition. The American Advertising Awards, the ADDYs, is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local AAF Club (Ad Club) competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising. At the second tier, local ADDY winners compete against winners from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions. District ADDY winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national stage of the American Advertising Awards. Entry in your local Ad Club competition is the first step toward winning a national ADDY. Special discounts are available for those who enter the American Advertising Awards Inland Empire Professional Competition (The ADDYS!) by Dec. 31, 2015. Members will be able to enter for only $75 for single entries and $85 for campaign entries. Non-members can enter for only $95 for single entries and $105 for campaign entries. Starting Jan. 1, 2016, prices will increase. There are more than 200 categories covering all aspects of advertising. The American Advertising Awards Inland Empire competition is the first step in the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting about 40,000 entries every year in local American Advertising Awards competitions. The deadline for entries is Feb. 5, 2016 and covers advertising that appeared Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2015. Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation-Inland Empire, the local Inland Empire American Advertising Awards is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie for recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local winners compete against other winners in one of 15 District competitions. District winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national American Advertising Awards competition. Entry in the American Advertising Awards Inland Empire competition is the first step toward winning a national ADDY® The category structure has been completely revamped for the 2016 competition with many new categories. There are over 200 categories in the following Divisions: sales promotion, collateral material, direct marketing, out of home, ambient media, magazine advertising, newspaper advertising, online/interactive media, radio, television, cross platform integrated campaigns, photography, sound, and illustration. New categories include: music videos, video editing, voice-over talent, branded content and entertainment, integrated brand identity campaign, augmented reality, mobile interaction, in addition to 48 student categories.
