Storm Drain Construction to Close One Lane on Citrus Avenue

REDLANDS >> Beginning Monday, April 25, the right lane of westbound traffic on Citrus Avenue will be closed for storm drain construction. Traffic will continue to be open in both directions of Citrus Avenue. Lane closures will be limited to the construction hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Construction activities are expected to be completed by Friday, April 29. On Feb. 2, 2016, the Redlands City Council approved the Citrus Avenue and Orange Avenue Storm Drain Repair Project and awarded a construction contract to TryCo General Engineering in the amount of $134,800. All project costs are funded through the City’s Storm Drain fund. Construction of these improvements will improve the integrity of the existing infrastructure, as well as increase the capacity of water flow in the storm drains. The City will make every reasonable effort to minimize any inconvenience to the neighboring community.
