On Friday, Oct. 23, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside and Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary will host the fourth annual Mansion Masquerade at the Burrage Mansion in Redlands. The Halloween-themed costume ball will give people age 21 and older the chance to enjoy a fun night while benefiting the club. The event will include dinner, drinks, dancing, a silent auction and two tours – one historic and one “haunted.” Guests can enjoy food from local restaurants including Jose’s Mexican Food and Napoli Italian Restaurant, and beer from Redlands breweries like Hangar 24 Craft Brewery and Ritual Brewing Co. The haunted tour will take guests through the mansion’s grounds, where they may or may not encounter a spirit or two. For those who prefer to not be spooked, the historic tour will take them through the mansion’s past and architecture, through the eyes of those who lived there. Sponsorships, volunteers and donations are welcome. Donations, which will be used in the auction, can include an item, gift card, basket or service. All proceeds will support Boys and Girls Club programs. The event starts at 7 p.m., and tickets are $50. “The money raised at Mansion Masquerade helps us to maintain the nationally recognized programming we have in place, as well as work to initiate new programs and activities for the kids to help them become caring, productive, responsible citizens,” said Club CEO P.T. McEwen. “It is events like Mansion Masquerade and our generous sponsors and guests who help us serve more kids year after year.” Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at www.BeGreatIE.org, by calling (888) 822-6535, or emailing masquerade@bgcie.org. To become a sponsor, ask about volunteering or to make a donation, call Development Director Eddie Hernandez at (888) 822-6535, ext. 206, or email masquerade@bgcie.org.
