Ariana "Ari" Nicole Villalobos a.k.a "Sweet Pea" was gifted to us by God on August 27th 2004. She's the first born of 4 Villalobos children. Ari always had a peaceful spirit about her as well as a loving disposition. From a young age she showed such generosity and kindness that you don't see in a lot of kids. Growing up Ari loved to go camping, attend church with her family, go on hikes, draw, (which you would always get a homemade card and crafts for special occasions from Ari), paint, go to Disneyland with her family, amongst other things, but everything was always done with her daddy Chris, mama Nikki, little brothers Elijah and Noah and baby sister Bella. Ari absolutely loved and adored animals and was always trying to rescue every cat and dog she would see. She ended up rescuing two cats that she called her "kids" and named them Micah and Faith. She even held birthday parties for them. Ari also showed the depth of her love by always praying for people that weren't being very nice to her. She was having trouble with a bully from 4th to 6th grade but Ari would always say "Let's pray for this person and I forgive them." She was a great example of loving your enemies. Ari was an absolutely amazing amazing student in the classroom. She often received honor roll and numerous awards for great citizenship. Ari was amazing at many things amongst them was soccer. She developed a great love at a young age for soccer. At the age of 3 she showed skills and talent that couldn't be taught. From then on you could always find our girl on the soccer field. She would later go on to join the soccer the club soccer team named Arsenal, which would later become I.E. Legends. Ari had just signed up for a recruiting company before starting her freshman year at Grand Terrace high school and was getting some inquiries from colleges. She had just made the JV Girls soccer team at school when she began to develop headaches. A trip to the emergency room would forever change Ari's life. An inoperable brain tumor was found. The next year would be filled with numerous surgeries and hospital stays. Ari's fight was intense but through it all she kept her same genuine loving, kind, generous personality. The depth of the beauty of our girl's heart was made even clearer when she requested that her organs, brain, tumor, and spine be donated to science to try and find a cure to help other kids who might be in her position. She said she wanted her family, friends, and people to be saved for Jesus and not be sorry for her. She asked her parents to adopt a less fortunate child to give them a chance she might not have so that child could know what it was like to have a good life. Ari's love for Jesus was such a grand display in everything she said and did even in her last days. It is our hope that everyone will keep Ari's memory and legacy alive. That they would be as selfless as our Sweet Pea was, and in the words of Ari herself, "Don't be sorry for Ari, be saved by Jesus!"
