Animal Shelter Pets of the Week

Each week the Redlands Animal Shelter introduces you to a few of the guests staying at the Shelter. This week, meet two cats and three dogs, all ready to become loving members of your family, along with all the rest of the guests at the Redlands Animal Shelter. 

- "Darla,” a 3-year old spayed female orange tabby domestic long hair cat. Darla has been at the Redlands Animal Shelter since February 13, 2018. She loves attention and will ask for it. Darla is a bit of a rarity in that four out of five orange tabby cats are male. 

- “Juan,” a 6-year old neutered male brown tabby domestic short hair cat Juan has been at the Redlands Animal Shelter since January 27, 2018. He is a big “bear” of a cat, shy at first, but scratch him under the ear and he willingly rolls around and purrs for you. 

- “Cisco,” a 3-month old male black and white Labrador Retriever mix. Cisco has been at the Redlands Animal Shelter since February 15, 2018. He is very friendly and loving with a winning personality. Who doesn’t love a puppy! 

- “Mandy,” a 3-year old spayed female black Australian Cattle Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier mix. Mandy has been at the Redlands Animal Shelter since January 23, 2018. She is very affectionate with “medium” energy. Mandy comes right out of her kennel with a happy greeting for everyone!. 

- “Charlie Koko,” a 7-year old male black Terrier mix. Charlie Koko has been at the Redlands Animal Shelter since January 30, 2018. Charlie is friendly, playful and loves attention. 

The current population at the Redlands Animal Shelter includes 

- 26 Dogs 

- 11 Cats plus 2 cats at PetSmart, 595 E. Hospitality Lane, San Bernardino, CA 92408 

Since February 14, 2018, 3 dogs and 8 cats found homes. 

All our guests are ready and willing to become members of your family! Please stop by and see if we have your new family member!

- Adoption fees for dogs: $86 including spay/neuter, DHLPP, and Bordetella *$51 for seniors 55+ and active military with ID* 

- Adoption fees for cats: $50 including spay/neuter and FVRCP. *$28 for seniors 55+ and active military with ID*

Each week the staff at the Redlands Animal Shelter selects a few Shelter guests as Pets of the week.

It is boys week!  Two male cats and two male dogs, including a senior 10-year old Chihuahua..

● "Zeke,” a 5-month-old male black and white domestic shorthair cat. Zeke has been at the Redlands Animal Shelter since March 9, 2018.  Zeke is playful and very affectionate – when he likes you, you get a loving head butt.  

 

● “Toby,” a 1-year-old male black tabby domestic shorthair cat. Toby has been at the Redlands Animal Shelter since March 8, 2018.  He is quiet, laid back and playful when he wants to be.  A tail scratch gets him rolling around in no time!  

● “Billy,” a 1-year 1-month old neutered male cream color short hair Chihuahua. Billy has been at the Redlands Animal Shelter since February 27, 2018.  Billy can be reserved, but likes attention.  He is aggressive with other small dogs and previous owner reports he is not good with children. 

 

● “Bruizer,” a 10-year old neutered male  black and tan short hair Chihuahua.  Bruizer has been at the Redlands Animal Shelter since February 23, 2018.  He is shy at first, but has really come out of his shell and loves attention. Let’s find this senior dog a forever home!

 

The current population at the Redlands Animal Shelter includes

             ● 32 Dogs

             ● 17 Cats plus 6 cats at PetSmart San Bernardino (595 E. Hospitality Lane, San Bernardino, CA  92408)

Since February 28, 2018, 20 dogs and 19 cats found homes.

Adoption fees for dogs: 

$86 including spay/neuter, DHLPP, and Bordetella 

*$51 for seniors 55+ and active military with ID*

$50 including spay/neuter and FVRCP.

● Cat Toys (balls, etc.) ● Dog Toys (rope and pull toys) ● Various size choker chains for volunteers to walk dogs ● HE (high efficiency) laundry soap ● Regular laundry soap ● Scrubber Sponges  ● Disinfectant wipes ● Dawn dish soap ● Bleach ● Pine-sol ● Dryer Sheets (helps reduce static) ● Swiffer WestJet Pads  ● Floor Cleaner (Pine-sol type cleaners, lavender scent) ● Cat Litter Pans (plastic) ● Plastic 6-foot wading pools
