Alta Vista Credit Union announced today that it will be offering special member cash incentives and local charitable donations throughout 2018 in honor of its 75th anniversary. The Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House has been selected as beneficiary of the first quarter donations.

Additionally, in the first quarter of the year, Alta Vista Credit Union members will be given the opportunity to win cash through Alta Vista’s Visa Credit Card program. All members that open new Alta Vista Visa credit card accounts or complete a minimum $500 balance transfer and/or cash advance during the months of January, February or March will be entered into a month-end drawing of $75.00. All entries into the January, February and/or March monthly drawings will also go toward a quarter-end drawing of $250 and a year-end drawing of $2,500. Alta Vista will also give $3.00 to Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House for every member that qualifies for the first quarter-end drawing.

In addition to providing monetary donations to the Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House, the credit union is also helping families through the charity’s Meals of Love and Walk for Kids. On Wednesday, March 7th, Alta Vista staff prepared baked chicken, mashed potatoes and vegetables to feed approximately 100 people at the Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House located in Loma Linda. On April 8th, the credit union will be participating in a 5K Walk for Kids to help raise money and awareness to benefit those being served by the charity.

“Throughout our 75 years, community outreach and service has been an important part of our credit union,” said RaAnn Wood, President and Chief Executive Officer at Alta Vista Credit Union. “People helping people will remain the reason that Alta Vista Credit Union exists.”
