REDLANDS>> A story of faith, courage and love springs to life on stage as LifeHouse Theater presents the musical, “Noah.” This upbeat musical captures the best and worst of humanity as Noah asks God’s blessing. With colorful contemporary staging, this musical comedy boldly tells this familiar story in a uniquely creative theatrical experience that captivates audiences of all ages. Performances begin Saturday, Jan. 7 at 7:30 p.m. and will continue on weekends through Feb. 5. Performances are Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2:15 p.m. (except Opening Night) and 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:15 p.m. In addition to the weekend performances, a Thursday evening performance will be offered on Feb. 2 at 7:30 p.m. The performance on Friday, Jan. 20 at 7:30 p.m. will also feature an interpreted presentation for the deaf. Advance ticket prices are $18 or $24 for adults and $9 or $12 for children ages 3-11. No children under 3 are admitted. Tickets can be purchased over the phone with a Visa or MasterCard by calling (909) 335-3037. Tickets are available online at boxoffice.lifehousetheater.com. Checks can also be mailed to LifeHouse, provided reservations are made far enough in advance. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the box office, which is open Fridays from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and one hour prior to performance times on the weekends. Tickets are $2 more the day of the performance. Group rates are available for groups of ten or more. Guests are encouraged to reserve seats early as performances do sell out. “Noah” is written by Dustin Ceithamer, an award-winning Inland Empire stage talent who also serves as the musical’s director and choreographer. “The story of Noah and the challenges he faces with his family has always held a special place in my heart,” Ceithamer said. “My hope is that the story will touch audiences in the powerful way it has uplifted me and those of us performing on stage.” Joining Ceithamer on stage as performers are nine other cast storytellers from all over the Inland Empire. The ensemble features Sarah Ayotte, Nathan Prince, William Fernandez Jr., Tai Dooley, Chris Daub, Melissa Smith, Emily Prince, Jennifer M. DeWitt and Jeremy Yeo who all humorously portray a variety of roles. “Having appeared at most theater venues throughout Southern California, Dustin is an amazing talent whose presence at LifeHouse is always welcome and appreciated,” said LifeHouse president Wayne Scott. “He has a genius for creative stage work and his approach to Noah combines fun comedy with inspirational storytelling.” The 23rd season continues with “Peter Pan: A New Musical,” out Feb. 18 - Mar. 26, 2017; followed by “Ruth,” out Apr. 8 - May 14, 2017; “The Wizard of Oz,” out May 27 - July 2, 2017; “Abraham and Sarah,” out July 15 - Aug. 13, 2017; and “Phantom of the Opera,” out Aug. 26 - Sept. 24, 2017. The theater is located at 1135 N. Church St. in Redlands, next to the Redlands Christian School. Free parking is available in back of the theater.
