Walk across the bridge to another world…a pueblo, plaza, and cemetery filled with altars to honor families, surrounded by the vivid colors and vibrant music of a traditional Dia de los Muertos celebration. Arrive in your finest Dia de los Muertos attire or favorite Coco character (optional) – and become part of the experience. It promises to be a truly visual and culturally rich experience for the entire family.

The doors open at 2:00 though you may wish to arrive at 1:30 to explore and participate in the before-concert activities. Walk around experience the vivid colors, sights and sounds of the transformed pueblo. Enjoy traditional foods such as tamales, champurrado, aquas frescas and pan dulce that will be available for purchase. Free face painting is also available if you wish to express your Dia de los Muertos style.

Mariachi Youth Academy

Sinfonia Mexicana of San Bernardino founded the Mariachi Youth Academy in February 2009 to provide a music education for area youth who did not have access to an arts education and its benefits. The Academy students learn to read music, understand music theory, play their instrument, perform mariachi music, and excel academically. Since its founding, the Academy has served over 500 students from across the Inland Empire.
