A workshop series focused on selling handmade craft and vintage items on Etsy will be offered in June by the Inland Empire Women’s Business Center (IEWBC), a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship (IECE) at Cal State San Bernardino (CSUSB). The “Be an Etsypreneur” series will guide participants through the process of selling their goods online using Etsy, from understanding how the online platform works through building an Etsy storefront to promoting themselves and their merchandise. All workshops will be taught by Sue Young, owner of In Your Favor and an experienced Etsy seller. “Introduction to Etsy” will take place on Saturday, June 4 from 10 a.m. to noon. “Building Your Etsy Storefront” will be on Saturday, June 11 from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by “Promoting Your Etsy Store” on June 25, from 9 a.m. to noon. Those interested can sign up for the Etsypreneur series for $75. If purchased individually, the cost for the first workshop is $20 and the second and third are $40 each. All workshops will take place at the IEWBC, located at 3780 Market Street in Riverside. To register, visit the IEWBC website. The IEWBC is a program of the IECE at CSUSB. Housed in the College of Business and Public Administration, IECE, which administers the program in collaboration with the U.S. Small Business Administration, is inland Southern California’s leading organization dedicated to supporting and promoting entrepreneurship. The IEWBC provides business counseling, training and mentoring designed for women business owners.
