LifeHouse Theater Presents "Rapunzel Untangled"

REDLANDS >> The classic story of a young girl stuck in a tower is told through a new musical performance titled “Rapunzel Untangled” at LifeHouse Theater which premiered June 25 at the LifeHouse Theater located at 1135 N. Church St. The show features music, comedy and romance that audiences of all ages can enjoy. “We are very excited to be debuting this new musical fairytale this summer," said LifeHouse President Wayne R. Scott. “People are familiar with Rapunzel, but don’t really know her story. Guests will enjoy discovering the funny and heartwarming tale behind this fantasy princess.” “Rapunzel Untangled” is written by Nathan and Emily Prince and directed by Katrina Cavarno. The production staff includes choreographer Brett Ordaz and vocal director Susan Meinders. Costume design is by Cristy Conrad-Wiley and set design is by Tim Mahoney. The musical features Emily Martin as Rapunzel, Xander Legaspi as Prince Sebastian and Jennifer M. DeWitt as the evil Gothel. Also featured are Danny Blair as the King, Debbi Biddick as the Queen, Aaron Yañez as Matthias and Priscilla George as Emma. The theater will feature performances every weekend until July 24. Friday performances start at 7:30 p.m., Saturday performances start at 2:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday performances start at 2:15 p.m. A special weekday performance is set for July 21 at 7:30 p.m. Advance ticket prices are $16 or $20 for adults and $8 or $10 for children ages 3-11 (no children under 3 are admitted) and can be purchased over the phone with a Visa or MasterCard by calling (909) 335-3037. Tickets are available online at boxoffice.lifehousetheater.com. Checks can also be mailed to LifeHouse, provided reservations are made far enough in advance. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the box office, which is open Fridays from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and one hour prior to performance times on the weekends. Tickets are $1 more the day of the performance. Group rates are available for groups of ten or more. Guests are encouraged to reserve seats early as performances do sell out. Upcoming shows for LifeHouse Theater includes “Elijah,” a biblical musical, from Aug. 6 to Sept. 4 and “The Hiding Place,” a dramatic memoir about the holocaust Sept. 17 through Oct. 16.
