SAN BERNARDINO>> For the convenience of parents, the San Bernardino County Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) will be open on Saturday, April 22, Saturday, May 20, and Saturday, June 3 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Loma Linda and Victorville offices. No appointments are necessary and all walk-in customers are welcome. Child support professionals will be ready to help customers in taking steps to successfully manage their child support cases.

DCSS encourages customers to partner with them and see how they can assist with their child support needs. DCSS can provide assistance in obtaining genetic testing to eligible customers, change support orders, agree to child support versus going to court, discuss license and passport releases, and get case information updates.

“We want the community to know we are here to support and work with parents who have child support,” said Director Marie Girulat.

DCSS assists families by establishing orders for child and medical support, establishing parentage, locating absent parents, enforcing support orders, and collecting and distributing child support payments. DCSS is focused on helping the whole family with all aspects of services to gain self-sufficiency. DCSS is responsible for a caseload of approximately 112,000 cases with annual collections exceeding $177 million.

Visit the Loma Linda office at 10417 Mountain View Avenue in Loma Linda or the Victorville office at 15400 Civic Drive in Victorville.
