On March 24th, 2018 the 2018 Miss Moreno Valley & Miss Perris Valley titleholders were selected at 1 With Him Ministries Church in Moreno Valley.

This annual tradition invites young ladies from the Moreno Valley & Perris Valley communities to participate in phases of completion that include: Personal Interview, “Spirit of the Valley” Fun Fashion, Evening Wear, Onstage Question and Academic Achievement.

Taking home the title of Miss Moreno Valley 2018 is Brittan Baxter, a Junior at Valley View High School; Miss Perris Valley 2018 goes to R’Mani Anderson, a senior at Moreno Valley College; Miss Teen Perris Valley went to Alaze Vega, a Sophomore at Perris High School; Miss Teen Moreno Valley 2018 is Sarah Dunham, a Sophomore at Canyon Springs High School; and serving as Miss Teen Sunnymead 2018 is Mercedes Jones, a Sophomore at Valley View High School.

Additionally, four young ladies were crowned as “Little Sisters” to participate in the Miss Moreno Valley/Miss Perris Valley Scholarship Program mentor program: Marina Montiel, 4th grader at Armada Elementary, Kaylee Perez, 5th grader at Hedrick Ranch Elementary, Julie Larios, 4th Grader at Rainbow Bridge Elementary and Vivianna Morales, a 5th Grader at Honey Hollow Elementary.

Executive Director of the Miss Moreno Valley Program, Miguel Sarasa, stated “It’s truly remarkable how many great students there are in Moreno Valley. Our program is still in its infancy and we are excited to have our current titleholders embark on their year of service.” The Miss Moreno Valley/Perris Valley Scholarship Program is not a beauty pageant.  While, yes, all our titleholder’s are beautiful, they are very accomplished young ladies, participating in school leadership roles and also maintaining above average grades.

Titleholders will embark on a year of service, attending community events, bringing awareness to local nonprofits and businesses.
