Nonprofit Expands to Save Lives and Create Positive Change

The Hole in Wall Inc. is a more than what the name indicates. Created by founders Benjamin and Glenda Shuler, the organization's goal is to reach out to the less fortunate in the Inland Empire and offer them resources and guidance to different programs and agencies, enabling them to get a fresh start in life. On Saturday Aug. 8, the nonprofit organization located in Moreno Valley celebrated yet another expansion. The "New To You Expression" thrift store ribbon cutting ceremony was performed at 10 a.m. with festivities including Councilman Jeffery Giba, presenting a certificate from the city, and Parks & Recreation Commission Chair James C. Baker II conducting the ribbon cutting and serving as the keynote speaker at the event. The nonprofit's motto, "Saving lives, one brick at a time," is not just a saying, but it is a way of life for the founders, staff and all the volunteers. The organizations' future goals are to facilitate a housing complex, a homeless shelter and an outpatient treatment center, to make lives better.
