LifeHouse Theater rings in the New Year with the acclaimed one woman drama “Women Warriors” as part of its 26th season. Harriett Beecher Stowe, Elizabeth Fry, Mary McLeod Bethune, Amy Carmichael, Corrie ten Boom, Gladys Aylward, Sojourner Truth - seven remarkable woman who did extraordinary things that changed the world.  Each of them are warriors because of their courage and strength in the face of challenging circumstances. “Women Warriors” is written and performed by author and actor, Annette Hubbell, and adapted from her book “Eternity Through the Rearview Mirror.”  "I took great delight in researching their lives, delving into their stories, and determining how to best portray them on stage,” commented Hubbell. "The play asks you to relate to these women—no matter their age, color or physical appearance—to get to the core message: love God, love your neighbor." “Women Warriors” opened Saturday evening, January 11, 2020 and will continue through January 26, 2020. Performances are Fridays at 7:00 PM, Saturdays at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM. In addition to the weekend performances, a special Thursday evening performance will be offered on January 23 at 7:00 PM. The performance on Friday, January 24, at 7:00 PM will also feature an interpreted presentation for the deaf. Regular advance ticket prices for each production are $22 or $26 for adults and $11 or $13 for children ages 3-11 (no children under 3 are admitted) and can be purchased over the phone with a Visa or MasterCard by calling (909) 335-3037. Tickets are available online at boxoffice.lifehousetheater.com. Checks can also be mailed to LifeHouse, provided reservations are made far enough in advance. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the box office, which is open Fridays from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and one hour prior to performance times on the weekends. Tickets are $2 more the day of the performance. Group rates are available for groups of ten or more. Guests are encouraged to reserve seats early as performances will sell out.  “It’s exciting to be able to present this dynamic production," commented Wayne Scott, founder and president of LifeHouse Theater. “You don’t have to know any of these women to enjoy and be inspired by their stories as presented by Annette Hubbell."  “Women Warriors” will be directed by Sue Ann Staake with costume design by Hubbell, Staake and Tiffany Michel. Set design is by Vincent Martinucci and Jacob Michel and lights and Sound are by Zachary Michel and Peter Rajca. LifeHouse Theater’s 26th season continues throughout 2020 with “Seussical” (February 8 - March 8, 2020), “The Rise of King David” (March 21 - April 26, 2020), “Little Women” (May 9 - June 14, 2020), “King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table” (June 27 - August 2, 2020), “Esther!” (August 15 - September 13, 2020), and “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” (September 26 - October 25, 2020). Money-saving season passes are now on sale at the LifeHouse Box Office.
