LifeHouse Theater brings to life the laughter, romance and suspense of “Beauty and the Beast.” This popular original musical of the French fairy tale follows the adventures of the Beauty, Rose, as she discovers true love and the soulful secrets deep in the heart of the Beast. Chester Drawers, Miss Bristle the dancing broom, Madam Buffet the singing stove and a castle of quirky enchanted objects add hilariously comic moments. At once witty, suspenseful and poignant, this award-winning musical enthralls audiences of all ages. “Beauty and the Beast” launches LifeHouse Theater’s 24th theatrical season. Performances begin Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 7:30 PM and will continue on weekends through November 12, 2017. Performances are Fridays at 7:30 PM, Saturdays at 2:15 PM (except Opening Night) and 7:30 PM, and Sundays at 2:15 PM. In addition to the weekend performances, a special Throwback Thursday evening performance, with special pricing, will be offered on November 9 at 7:30 PM. The performance on Friday, October 20, at 7:30 PM will also feature an interpreted presentation for the deaf. Advance ticket prices are $19 or $25 for adults and $9 or $12 for children ages 3-11 (no children under 3 are admitted) and can be purchased over the phone with a Visa or MasterCard by calling (909) 335-3037. Tickets are available online at boxoffice.lifehousetheater.com. Checks can also be mailed to LifeHouse, provided reservations are made far enough in advance. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the box office, which is open Fridays from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and one hour prior to performance times on the weekends. Tickets are $2 more the day of the performance. Playing the role of the Beauty is Grace Stocks with Jacob Williams portraying the Beast. The cast of kooky animated objects are led by Nick Diliberto as Chester Drawers, Diana Handy as Madame Buffet, Sophia Partain as Miss Bristle, Jordan Evans and Dusty Pan, and Julie Carlson as Mrs. Peer. The Beauty’s family is played by John Kim as the Father, and Emilee Corral and Alyssa Monsma as her sisters Ivy and Iris. Juliet Merrell is also featured in the role of the Enchantress.       Katrina Cavarno directs the musical. Jeremy Yeo and Sarah Pearce serve as the Vocal Directors. Choreography is by Alyssa Quast with costume design by Machir Lakofka.
