Audiences will journey to a fantasy kingdom of “once upon a time” as LifeHouse Theater presents the return of its original musical comedy, “Cinderella.”
The award-winning production, written by LifeHouse founder and president Wayne R. Scott, opens Saturday evening, September 14, 2019 and continues through October 13, 2019. Performances are Fridays at 7:00 PM, Saturdays at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM. In addition to the weekend performances, a special Throwback Thursday evening performance, with special pricing, will be offered on October 10 at 7:00 PM. The performance on Friday, September 27, at 7:00 PM will also feature an interpreted presentation for the deaf.
Regular advance ticket prices for each production are $20 or $26 for adults and $10 or $13 for children ages 3-11 (no children under 3 are admitted) and can be purchased over the phone with a Visa or MasterCard by calling (909) 335-3037. Tickets are available online at boxoffice.lifehousetheater.com. Checks can also be mailed to LifeHouse, provided reservations are made far enough in advance. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the box office, which is open Fridays from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and one hour prior to performance times on the weekends. Tickets are $2 more the day of the performance. Group rates are available for groups of ten or more. Guests are encouraged to reserve seats early as performances will sell out.
Directed by Priscilla George and choreographed by Brett Burke and Alyssa Ordaz with Sophie Mills, “Cinderella” brings the world’s oldest and best-known fairy tale to life with a critically acclaimed musical score and a cast of veteran Inland Empire performers. The charming Cinderella, her friends the mice and a lizard, her hilariously wicked stepsisters, a kindly prince, an amazing Godmother, and a kooky king combine with dazzling dance and magical moments for a fun family adventure.
Joining George on the production staff are assistant director Cathy Flores, music director Mary Lynn Mollner, and costume designer Tiffany Michel.
“We are looking forward to finishing our 25th silver anniversary season with all the fun, magic and touching moments of this smash hit musical,” comments Scott. “We are blessed to have so many talented performers helping us return this timeless tale to the LifeHouse stage. Many new surprises are in store.”
Playing the title role is Kristiana McKelvey. “Cinderella” also features Esmeralda Gil and Sienna Tellez as the stepsisters Druzel and Croakette, Jordan Evans as Liz the Lizard, Cove Manson and Jaden Scrima as sibling mice Max and Mortimer, Diana Handy as the angelic Godmother, Samantha Stephenson as the wicked Stepmother, Luke Shelton as Prince Alexander, Duane Crother as King Coriander, Monique Crother as Queen Alessandra and Jordan Crother as The Herald.
