Grocery Outlet Now Open

The highly anticipated Grocery Outlet Grand Terrace opened its doors today. Owners Eric and Priscilla Santillan were surrounded by a host of Grand Terrace dignitaries including Mayor Darcy McNaboe, Mayor Pro Tem Doug Wilson, GT Council members Sylvia Robles, Bill Hussey, Jeff Allen and City Manager Harold Duffy. Also in attendance were field representatives from Senator Connie Leyva’s office and Assembly member Eloise Reyes Gomez’s office as well as a host of Grand Terrace Lions Club members and a huge crowd of family friends and community members from the local area. The Santillan’s presented the Lions Club with a check for $1,500 from the Grand Terrace Grocery Outlet. The first 200 customers received gift cards in the amount of $5-$200 and a free reusable bag for shopping. The first few people in line had been waiting since 5am for their chance to win.
