LifeHouse Theater is pleased to announce the long-awaited return of the critically acclaimed original musical, “Pilgrim’s Progress.” The production follows a young man named Christian on a fantastic sojourn to realms of wonder. Based on the immortal bestselling classic by John Bunyan, this stylish hit musical features thrilling encounters with angels, devils and giants.
Performances begin Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 7:00 PM and will continue on weekends through April 28, 2019.
Regular advance ticket prices for each production are $20 or $26 for adults and $10 or $13 for children ages 3-11 (no children under 3 are admitted). Checks can also be mailed to LifeHouse, provided reservations are made far enough in advance. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the box office, which is open Fridays from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and one hour prior to performance times on the weekends. Tickets are $2 more the day of the performance. Group rates are available for groups of ten or more. Guests are encouraged to reserve seats early as performances will sell out.

Written by LifeHouse veteran Ken Wright with Wayne R. Scott, this family musical brings to life the struggles and triumphs of the pilgrim Christian as he journeys from the City of Destruction to the Celestial City. The allegorical tale is regarded as one of the most significant works of English literature, has been translated into more than 200 languages, and has never been out of print.
The cast of LifeHouse storytellers includes veteran actors and actresses from all over the Inland Empire. The musical features the talents of Scott Burn as Christian, Nathan Smith as John Bunyan, Tai Wazdatsky as the Prostitute, Aaron Yañez as Faithful, Jeremy Yeo as Hopeful and Meigan Karraker as Christiana. Also featured in multiple roles are Jonathan Bushey, Diana Handy, J. Wiley, and Jana Smith.
The award-winning production staff of “Pilgrim’s Progress” includes director Jennifer M. DeWitt, choreographer Michael Milligan, music directors Sarah Pearce and Jeremy Yeo, costume designer Cristy Conrad and set designer Vincent Martinucci.
LifeHouse Theater’s 25th silver anniversary season continues in with the return of the action-packed “Treasure Island” (May 11 - June 9, 2019), followed by Disney’s “Mary Poppins” (June 22 - July 21, 2019), “Les Miserablès: A New Drama” (August 3 - September 1, 2019) and “Cinderella” (September 14 - October 20, 2019). Money-saving pro-rated season passes are now on sale at the LifeHouse Theater Box Office.

In addition to the weekend performances, a special Throwback Thursday evening performance, with special pricing, will be offered on April 25 at 7:00 PM.
